This page explains payments on Nodalia: the company’s plan, customer purchases in the hub and how fees are allocated. Nodalia has no separate payout process for hub owners.

1. Stripe Payments – the company’s plan
The hub owner’s company buys or upgrades its Nodalia plan through Stripe Checkout. This payment goes to Nodalia and is separate from members’ purchases in the hub.
Current prices, member limits and platform fees are shown on the pricing page. Paid plans are quoted per month but billed annually: monthly price × 12. VAT is displayed according to the selected view and applicable rules.
2. Stripe Connect – accept payments in the hub
Before setting a membership fee or event price, the company must have a Stripe Connect account approved to accept payments. Free memberships and free events do not require a payment connection.
The hub owner provides company, identity and bank information directly to Stripe and completes Stripe’s required checks. Customers then pay directly into the hub owner’s connected Stripe account through Stripe Checkout. Nodalia does not collect the entire purchase amount to pay it out to the hub owner later.
3. How fees are allocated
The platform fee is determined by the company’s agreement and applies to paid charges in the hub, such as membership and event fees. Nodalia START has 10%; Nodalia PRO and Nodalia NETWORK have 5%. The current agreement always governs.
The buyer pays the price plus a 3% transaction fee. This charge applies to all purchases regardless of payment method and is shown before payment. It is an estimate of the hub owner’s processing costs, not Stripe’s exact fee.
Nodalia’s platform fee is deducted first and goes to Nodalia’s account. The entire remainder, including the transaction fee, belongs to the hub owner. Stripe’s own fees are charged to the hub owner’s Stripe account and do not reduce Nodalia’s share. If Stripe’s costs exceed the estimate, the hub owner covers the difference.
Example: EUR 1,000 purchase with a 10% platform fee, before VAT
- Price in the hub
- 1,000.00
- Buyer’s transaction fee (3%)
- +30.00
- Buyer pays
- 1,030.00
- Nodalia’s platform fee (10%)
- 100.00
- Hub owner receives before Stripe fees
- 930.00
- Hub owner receives after Stripe fees
- 930.00 − Stripe fees
4. Membership fees are billed annually
The hub owner sets a monthly membership price, but the member is always billed for a full year: monthly price × 12. The 3% transaction fee is added to the annual amount. Event fees apply to the individual event purchase.
Example: EUR 20 per month becomes EUR 240 per year. The transaction fee is EUR 7.20 and the buyer pays EUR 247.20 before any VAT. With a 5% platform fee, Nodalia receives EUR 12 and the hub owner receives EUR 235.20 before Stripe fees.
5. Funds to the hub owner’s bank account
Stripe handles transfers from the hub owner’s Stripe balance to their registered bank account according to the account’s settings, verification status and Stripe’s terms. Timing and available balance are shown in Stripe.
Nodalia has no separate weekly schedule, minimum payout amount or six-month rule for retaining the hub owner’s funds. The previous payout policy is replaced by this finance information.
6. Refunds, VAT and responsibilities
The hub owner is responsible for their sales, terms, refunds and payment disputes on their Stripe account. Stripe’s costs and rules may vary between countries, currencies and payment methods.
In the current payment flow, Nodalia’s platform fee is not automatically returned when a refund is issued. The hub owner needs to account for this when handling a refund.
The hub owner is responsible for correct VAT and accounting for their sales. Nodalia’s plan fee and platform fee are separate from the hub owner’s revenue. Examples on this page are before any VAT.
